Happy New Year!

New Year New Me!!
Nah.. not exactly. Same old me. Hormonal but happy. Hehe..
2016 has been a decent year for me. Busy with my kids but barely had time for myself! Having two toddlers in the house is really no joke. I noticed me and and my husband rarely have time for the two of us. Like a proper date. Our daily conversations usually revolves around the kids, their schedule, when S is gonna be outstation cause I have to request for no-oncall and bills. My goodness. We are already in our comfort zone. Too comfortable I would say…
Im not complaining. In fact Im really grateful for this life. Every single thing, I know Im blessed, but just a thought to myself, I want to nurture my marriage like how it should be according to Islam. I have to be honest, after more than 6 years of marriage, I still read books and articles about how to be a good Muslimah wife. We all need reminder occasionally. It’s easy to get carried away with work and other responsibilities.

To S, if you are reading this, this is (one of) my 2017 goals. To nurture our marriage. Sorry I fell asleep last night when the clock striked twelve 😅 I was too exhausted. When I woke up, it was 4am and already 2017!! I found him asleep in B and T’s room. Thank you for putting the girls to sleep when I just cant do it. I pray to Allah for a blessed marriage. I pray to Allah for my strength to be better. In syaa Allah.
May we all celebrate love and life this year.
To love and life…
Happy New Year!
XO
