Planning and Planners

Believe it or not.. It’s already October.

Fuhhh… Time really flies, huh.. But do you know what that means?

That means we are almost at the end of the year..

End of the year means new planner!! (or organizer or diary!! Whatever you call it!) Yay!!

Yup, that is my guilty pleasure.. (besides handbags and shoes! Hahahah..)

I’m into planners.. well, to start with, I love planning.. I’m a type of person that likes to have everything planned, written on a paper and sometimes spontaneous things can irritate me.. Haha… I have all sorts of list. Check list, shopping list, books-I-want-to-read list, bag-wishlist, recipe-to-try list.. you name it!! And the joy of ticking the check boxes… Hehe.. I know it sounds silly.. but it makes me happy :)

Speaking about planners, I have tried many kind of planners for the past years.. I’ve tried Filofax, Erin Condren, MTN.. and I love it all!

Top most is my beloved Filofax’s The Original Organiser, middle one in my MTN Blue Edition and bottom most is the Erin Condren Life Planner.. Why I have so many planners? That is because I was trying to find which one suits me the most.. I’m busy ruling my kingdom, remember? Haha..

This is my Erin Condren for 2015 which I am using for home management and family stuff.. I had the cover personalised with our family name.. Muszaphar’s Family. All family members’ schedules are here. I know there’s only 4 of us (hehehehehe..) but it is so much fun to see all organised and written down nicely.. When is my oncall day, hubsy has to be around at home… When he is outstation, I can’t be oncall… Then comes the girls’  schedule. They have morning school, iqra’ school, swimming practise, Kumon, piano lessons… We, the parents (aka the driver) have to keep track you know! Hahaha.. And house chores.. not the routine ones.. the one that you do 4 monthly or 6 monthly.. like flip the bedroom mattress, or deep cleaning the freezer…. OMG who can remember that if it’s not written down? And the most important thing.. BILLS checklist!! See! Ruling a kingdom is not easy! Haha…

So, what this mommy gotta do now?

Buy a new planner for 2016!!

I have decided to continue using Erin Condren Life Planner for 2016. Just ordered mine and I found out that they have this free shipping at the value of USD9.95 until October 31, 2015. The cost for them to ship to Malaysia via Fedex is USD19.95. Since the sale is on, it will only cost us about USD10!! Big saving considering our Ringgit value is not too good nowadays.. (but this mommy still gotta plan, right?)

Check out for more info..

Happy planning!!

P/s: This is not a sponsored post. I’m just spreading the joy and happiness of planning and shopping! ;)

Lets Go To M, Mommy..

Yesterday, Bella told me, “Mommy, lets go to M. I think you, me, daddy and Tasha should go to M”. Alright, this is challenging.. I don’t even know what place is she talking about. So, I asked her some more.. “What’s M?”

“Urrmmm.. It has ice cream and nuggets. All my friends go there..”

Can you guess?

Then I showed her this logo..

“Is this your M, Bella?”

“Yes mommy!! Yesss! You are so smart”

(I like the compliment part!)

Yeah, she is asking me to bring her to McDonald!!

Whoever introduced her to McDonald…

Behind a Successful Woman…

Still in raya mode..?

Me no.. First day of raya, we decided to stay in and sleep..

Hahahah.. seriously. Sleep. That’s all. Meaningful.

Day 2 raya, I was already back at work..

Today, day 3 raya…

I’m oncall tomorrow, so today I have to vacuum, mop, laundry, ironing and the list goes on and on and on..

Have you heard the old saying…

Behind a successful man, there’s a woman..

But do you know..

Behind a successful woman, there’s a (reliable) maid!!

Trust me!

My beloved Kak Yah is probably having fun enjoying beautiful scenery in Ireland.. I heard she went shopping at Kildare Village.. Have fun Kak Yah!!

Yes I mean it!

And.. on top of these house chores.. Bella and Tasha keeps following me around, they are like my tails.. Talking tails!! Haha.. The girls really drives me crazy but I love them to bits!! They probably think I’m mad because I hug, tickle and kiss them after all the screaming scene.. Sometimes, even I myself think I’m mad.. Hehe..

OK, gotta go back to work. TTYL

New Work Station!

I’m maid-less right now!!

The kakak who stays with me is currently in Dublin. Yup, you got it right.. She is in Dublin, Ireland visiting my sister who gave birth about two weeks ago.. (We have a boy in the family… finally!! Hello Alfie!!)

So, here I am… like headless chicken running around. Haha… I just finished my Intensive Course which was … pretty intense! So much to catch up with work, study, house chores, family, hamsters…

Here’s my new work station.. No more proper table with book racks.. Hahahahah.. My new work station is at the laundry area near the kitchen.. I do laundry, fold, ironing, shop online, pay bills, read notes while folding clothes here!

A woman gotta do what a woman gotta do, right!

It’s the weekend and that was my first batch laundry. More to come, that means the pile is gonna grow.. Hehe… Wish me luck!

I need coffee now…

A Little Project..

Recently I have been involved with a little project with a few friends of mine. I really can’t wait to reveal it to all of you.. But of course I’m not allowed to as yet ;)

Still working on it!

Yup, as if I don’t have enough on my plate..

But really… this is my hobby, passion and interest.. (besides anaesthesia of course!)

I really hope this will work. May Allah give me and my team strength and patience to make this work..

Here’s a little hint…

I really like that name..

I hope you like it too..

Will update you!

Phone Update..

Happy Malaysia Day!

How I wish we could have Wednesday day off every week.. It’s like a de-stress day after two days of working, right? Haha..

Anyway, I have to update you that my phone failed to revive despite adequate measures taken.

I’m stuck with an old Samsung Note. The first one I think. I never used a Samsung before except when flip phone was in fashion many years ago… After that, I have always been a Blackberry person before converted to iPhone..

To me (or probably any iPhone user), Samsung is pretty difficult to use. Maybe because the one that I’m using is the old model but still.. It is just confusing. I had so much trouble adjusting myself to Samsung features. I believe many iPhone users agree with me that Android is much more complicated than iOS system. Now I truly believe Apple product is made for no brainers. Hahahah..

Right now, I’m still stuck with that Samsung and I totally have no desire to scroll my Instagram timeline, WhatsApp or even take pictures of my girls.

Still waiting for my iPhone replacement.

Can’t. Wait.

Hi all!!

Hopefully all of you are doing great beating Tuesday blues after a long weekend break! In my case, nothing new, I had to work over the weekend and coming back to work today.. oncall! By 9am today, I had 5 of my colleagues telling me that I look tired. Haha.. No worries, all fixed after my cup of coffee. Coffee is definitely my magic drug!

Anyway, that’s not my point.. I just wanna tell you what happened yesterday… Besides it was Merdeka day, I was post call. Had a bad ICU call the night before.. So when I came back home, finished some housechores, bathe my girls, did some Kumon worksheet with B,  feed them lunch, then my husband asked me to rest for a while. I must looked like a real zombie yesterday..  Haha..

My girls know they can play with ipad or phone only during the weekends. Tasha took my phone to watch her favourite kids story app. I was too tired to bother where did she went with the phone.

Guess where did she go?

She went to the bathroom, decided to flood the bathtub with water and the last thing my husband heard was Tasha screaming out loud because her diaper was burst filled up with water…. Kahkahkah!

OMG! I was glad nothing happened to her because she was alone in the bathroom and bathtub was almost full. I had a mini heart attack when I saw the water in the bathtub and thinking about when could have happened to her. Great great relief! Thanks to her burst diaper, she got scared. Hehe…

Owh.. and I forgot to mention, my phone was found next to the bathtub.. Wet!

I quickly googled “my iphone dropped into water, help”

So, the acute management for this kind of situation is..

#1 dry the iPhone with towel

#2 take out the sim card

#3 do NOT use hairdryer to blow dry the iPhone – almost.. almost did this! I was soo tempted!

#4 keep the iPhone is a ziplock bag full of rice. Apparently the rice will absorb the moisture from the phone.

#5 Check back after 3 days!

Hahahahaha.. yes, at least 3 days!

I don’t have 3 days! And I’m oncall today. I just can’t.. My husband called his Apple guy who somehow always have solutions to our Apple issues.. He opened up my phone, and tadaaaa.. it was full with water!

Currently my phone is still comatose and admitted to Apple ICU. I’m oncall today and I’m phoneless. I feel quite stressed up because I feel like I have no contact with the world.. you know, the instagram, whatsapp.. usual stuff :D I’m writing this from the hospital computer. and I have been writing emails to my husband too. Hahahaha..

The iPhone surgeon will update the condition of my phone this evening. Wish me luck. Whoever needs to post emergency orthopaedic case to me, please call OT straight.. Haha..

Have a nice day!
