Thank you for the ever flowing info in my previous entry.. I guess everyone has their own story why they choose their favourite formula milk.. Thank you again
I just wanna share with you B’s favourite spot in the house right now.. It’s next to the tv rack.. I had to remove my stuff inside there coz she keeps going in and out.. She loves to see sooo many little B in the mirror.. Hahaha..
As off June 21, 2012.. B is already 11 month old Besar dah anak dara I!!
All this while, she was still breastfeeding. Even when I go to work and during oncall nights, my fridge is full of milk for B. Everyday I expressed milk at workplace religiously. Now I guess it’s a good time to wean her off slowly.. I’m gonna start her on formula milk during daytime and mommy’s milk at night..
I truly wish I can continue to breastfeed her up until two years as recommended in the Al-Quran but I have my own reason for doing this. And I’m not telling you yet That one will be in another entry Promise!!
I’ve asked many of my paediatrician friends on choosing the right milk for Little B. I read the article about excessive sugar (lactose) in formula feeding that became a big issue in the US recently. And also I saw the advertisement about no-sugar-added Anmum Essential milk.. I got really confused, I believe many mommies feels the same way too.. Many of my paediatrician friends said that the milk is actually depending on the baby, you can give so-called the best formula on the shelf, but again if it doesn’t suit your baby, it won’t work..
So, yesterday I went to the supermarket. First time in the susu aisle..
Oh Em Gee!! I never knew I have too many options..
I got headache just by looking at the choices..
and went home empty handed.. Hahhaha…
So, mommies out there, may I know what formula milk do you give to your babies?
Yes Bella is away from us now.. she’s in Seremban with her mamatok and babatok for the school holiday!! Not for long, only 3 days She left us yesterday and insyaAllah coming back to KL tomorrow. As hard as it is for us, it’s good for her to learn to adapt in different environment..
Our house is so quiet right now, just me and hubby watching our fish in the aquarium..
Bella was unwell for the past few days.. she had blocked nose and cough.. Not too serious, now she’s getting better.. Alhamdullillah..
During her unwell period, she slept with us because she keeps waking up in the middle of the night and we couldn’t cope with the amount of traveling from our room to her room (macam lar jauh sgt..) in the middle of the night.. So, we just let her sleep in our bed..
Unfortunately, up until now, she loves our bed so much. Haih… Every time we put her back in her baby cot, she wakes up and cries.
*insert mommy’s cry here*
We don’t know what to do… Hahaha.. this is like a new challenge for us to put her back to sleep in her bed..
Look how much she loves our bed.. sampai tertonggeng2 tido…
Wish us luck!!!
This is a ‘must-share’ with all mommies out there.. Baby Bolognese, another yummy recipe from Annabel Karmel
These are the basic ingredients and together with minced beef!! Let’s start our cooking lesson…
First, heat up the olive olive in the saucepan, add the onion and fry for 2-3minutes.. Then you add the minced beef and garlic, brown over the medium heat. Add the celery, mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato puree and beef stock… I have a lot of beef and chicken stock in the fridge, so I just some of those.. Otherwise, you can just add water.. Sprinkle some thyme..
Check it out!! blum masak pun dak nampak sedap.. Cover the pot and simmer until it cooks. Add in Parmesan cheese to make it yummier Thats’s the best part… I love cheese!! Done with the gravy..
Now the pasta..
I used Heinz baby pasta in star-shape!! Yay!! Just boil it the hot water with a little bit of olive oil just to make sure it doesn’t stuck to each other.. Wallaaaa…
And it’s done!! My favourite baby food so far
Give it a try mommies!!
