Confirmed it’s teething!!! Haaaa… Patut pun dia demam!!
Two days ago I saw her upper teeth tapi sebatang jer.. on the right side. No wonder she has been biting me like mad!! Huuwwaaaa…
Yes I have tried all your petua given in my previous entry.. the worst is suffocating her with the boobies.. laaagi dia gigit ok!! It just doesn’t work!! Psychology, yes, sometimes she listens, sometimes not.. her gum much very very very itchy.. Poor Bella.. Maybe after this you’ll read my entry titled “Putus” pulak :’(
I’m not gonna write ever again about Bella tumbuh gigi..

dr halina, why don’t you try bagi bella “teehing thingy” yang sejuk. yang budak2 suka gigit dalam ada air luar mcm plastic yang boleh gigit. i just forgot what its call lah. leave it in the freezer and let her bite it. insyaalllah it helps a lot:)

hai doc..my son pn cpt tumbuh gigi..skrg 6 mnths dah ade 2 btg gigi..sy pn alami nasib yg same..die suke ggit then kemam2..bile kite jerit die snyum2 jek tngok muke kite hehehe
I can’t help myself to keep smiling everytime read your entries. From the very start, they’d inspired me. And until the latest one about tooth, still made me smile. Funny but true!
My experience when ever she started to bite, i menjerit kuat2, penuh emosi, dia akn terkejut & tgk i, then ckp kt dia, ‘mama sakit la amani..’ dia mcm freeze kejap. pastu i offer balik kat dia. its happen 2, 3 times . alhamdulillah dia dah x gigit until now. unless kalo x sengaja..huhuhu..
other tips, i biasa bekukan teether dia sblm bg kt dia. sblm bfeed sessiob bg teether beku tu dulu then br dia rasa comfort nk bfeed.

kekeke..nak marah mcm kesian, sbb bukan salah dia pun..my amani by 6m dah ader 2 btg gigi atas & 2bwh. by 8m 4 gigi atas, 4 4 bawah.I can’t imagine those sharp teeth kalo dia rajin gigit..iskkk!! so, kena la berdrama sikit.. Alhamdulillah its works very well on me. The journey still in the beginning, hahaha.. BTW, option lain, Dr. dah cuba nipple shield?
Tak penah try lg.. Thot about it but i dont think it will teach the baby anything. Kang dia rasa keras.. Lg dia gigit. Tak buleh wean from nipple shield pulak karang..
Yup, everything has its own pro & cons. Else, boleh cuba pesan kat baby sblm tidur (minda separa sedar) spy “only bite food or teether je” smbl2 zikir “Ya Latiff”. Insyaallah berkesan ..Otherwise bertahanlah ..just a temporary “side effect” Pheewwhh!!..Tiap cabaran yg dihadapi seorg ibu itu dlm membesarkan zuriatnya, ada pahalanya..

dah try cubit telinga kalau dia bite the nipple? Jgn cubit kuat sgt, cukup utk bgtau dia kalau bite nipple, telinga dia akan sakit…lama2 dia faham le. Baby demam bila nak berlaku perubahan baru spt tumbuh gigi, nak berjalan, bercakap…mcm baby akak, bila dia demam mesti nak pandai buat benda baru..
Hihihi..putus?omg omg..kdg2 gigit sbb bb nk main2..hihi..dont ever write about putus k..sbb xkn putus.sometimes ur fummy la doc..hihi.

just wanna share what i did bila anak dh start gigit-gigit kt situ..bila dia gigit, sy cepat-cepat masukkan jari kelingking kt celah gusi dia so we can pull out barang berharga kita tu dengan lebih mudah without menambahkan rsa sakit yg dh sedia sakit dek kna gigit. then our tiny finger akan jd tmpt dia ilangkan kejap rsa gatal nk gigit-gigit tu.. if push dia rsa lemas and either dia lepaskan or gigit more kuat kan..hope it works to u too..cheers
my son tumbuh gigi lambat sgt. first tumbuh gigi bawah umur 1 tahun. got bad fever jugak. now kene chicken pox pulak..so kesian. mama yg emo sgt2 time anak demam. and for sure my littlt boy’s antibody memang x kuat maybe sebab breastfeeding tak complete kot coz ada problem after dlvered…my doc suh stop bf…
Dia nangis x doc? Nak tanya pernah tak Bella nangis lama sesekali since born? My son ada sesekali nangis yang agak lama but rare lah. So esok nak inject pun saya risau dia demam.I’m also emo mum lah doc…

My experience, with my forth child summore, memang rasa nak putus, siap dengan bleeding dan kesakitan, and my daughter actually refused the nipple covers during breastfeeding. yikes!!!
